Just seems like it never lets up for you. You’re an incredibly resilient worker.

Thank you. It is a job that requires stamina, but it is what I want to do, so I do.

Oh, still swamped, then? I hope all keeps going well!

You mean I can be unswamped? Thank you.

Never a problem! Did it go well, if you don't mind sharing?

I, um, well, it’s going, I, enjoyed it and I think so did they. Just finding time around shifts, where energy levels aren’t at zero, is the problem right now.

Dinner? That's fantastic!

No, no, just lunch, but more than I thought I’d get. Thanks for the, erm, encouragement.

Merely a polite request, Detective Inspector. MLH

Already noted, Mr Holmes.

Please do not give Gregory any work currently. In his condition it would make his recovery harder. MLH

Did I give him any? No.

So, Detective Inspector, how did coffee go?

I, erm, alright… Going out for a meal soon, actually.

Any paperwork I can do? GHL

No, it’s alright, thanks though, it’s all under control for now.

D.I Dimmock, what do you think of the #BelieveInSherlock movement?

I, well, I can’t condone acts breaking the law, such as graffitti or other forms of vandalism.

I do believe that however impossible the cases he solved seemed to be, he did, I don’t believe he was a fraud.

It’s very clear he was a genius, no-one can dispute that. It was easy to misread him at times, but I worked with him a few times, perhaps not by choice, but I did.

I suppose, I believe in Sherlock Holmes.
